Excursions and Things to See and Do

Luggala’s extensive domain will ensure complete privacy to enjoy tranquil hours walking the woods and parkland, exploring and enjoying its unique attractions – rare and exotic trees, the birds and wildlife, boating, fishing (arctic char and brown trout) and in summer swimming in the lake.

Special excursions can be arranged at short notice. These might include racing, polo, hunting, Gaelic games, football or rugby. Other stately homes can be visited as well as cultural, archeological and heritage sites.

For golfers there are challenging courses nearby. Games can also be arranged at courses further afield.

~  Dublin (28 miles away) is conveniently located for its restaurants, theatres and cinemas, museums, galleries and famous Irish pubs.
